When Brendan was laid off in 2025 and diagnosed with epilepsy soon after, he faced significant challenges to both his physical and financial wellbeing – a situation made even more complex by his role in caring for his nephew. Since continuing in his role, Brendan has demonstrated leadership and a strong commitment to his work. As a result, he was recently promoted to a supervisor position within the warehouse. He has shared the pride he feels in this achievement and the stability it has brought to his life.
For Brendan, the most meaningful change has been regaining the ability to support himself – not only financially, but physically and mentally as well.
