Brainworks is an award-winning client-centered rehabilitation clinic that offers psychological, psychotherapeutic, social work, and rehabilitation therapy services in our office locations in Huntsville, North Bay, and Timmins, ON, as well as in-home or the community, if approved.

As a social worker at Brainworks, you will be providing treatment to all age groups and for a variety of referral sources, which allows us the ability to provide diversity in day-to-day practice. Collaboration with and consultation to a team of professionals is integral to the work we do. Clinical, administrative, and IT support is on hand for all team members.
What do you need to be successful?
You have a master’s degree in social work with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience or a bachelor’s degree in social work with a minimum of 4 years clinical experience
You are a member in good standing with the College of OCSWSSW
Being a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers is considered an asset
We are looking for social workers who are versed in and/or interested in developing competency in couples’ counselling
Experience with brain injury, PTSD, and / or pain management is a definite asset
You are client-centered and enjoy collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Candidates must be able to work as part of a team, as well as work well independently
You have strong verbal/written communication skills and have the ability to work with different personalities
You use good judgment and apply critical thinking when making client decisions
Candidates need to be highly motivated, care about the people we serve, and be equally able to follow direction and blaze a path
You have demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
A working knowledge of Ontario’s insurance-funded treatment systems would be an asset
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset
Hospital and/or pediatric experience is considered an asset
