High Tech Genesis is in search of a Backend Software Developer!

You will be working with product management, engineering, and architecture to develop a new product/solution.

The successful candidate will contribute, as part of our agile teams in a casual work environment where powerful workstations are used together with the latest Microsoft, Linux and open-source technologies to produce truly enlightened solutions.

 

 

What will you do as part of our team?

1.      Design and implement server-side applications and APIs.

2.      Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

3.      Develop and maintain databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.

4.      Develop and implement security and data protection measures.

5.      Debug and troubleshoot application issues.

6.      Collaborate with other team members, including DevOps and product managers, to deploy and maintain applications.

7.      Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

 

Required skills and experience:

•         MUST qualify for Top Secret Security Clearance

•         4+ years of professional experience programming with C#

•         Capable of building or contributing to a RESTful API

•         Development experience working on Linux and Windows operating systems

•         Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

 

 

Bonus skills!

•         Familiar with Agile development practices

•         Proficiency in working with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)

•         Experience working with Big Data
