Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for the implementation and execution of all HR related programs and initiatives to support their partnered units of Eclipse Automation. They will provide HR support to develop, implement and regulate company policies and procedures to ensure compliance of the current employment laws, and policies in support of the goals, objectives and initiatives of the organization.

The incumbent will work within the full scope of strategic business partner activity: recruitment, compensation employee relations, performance management, regulatory and legal compliance, policy administration, and employee training and development, while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.

The HR Business Partner job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Ensure a proactive approach to progressive HR programs, processes and policies and implement relevant and sustainable changes when required
Implement policies and provides input for all areas of the human resources function including staffing, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety and compliance to ensure organizational alignment with business goals
Administer and provide guidance to management and staff regarding all areas of human resources including (but not limited to) employee relations, performance management, training and development, employee engagement, and succession planning
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws
Provide day to day support and project coordination on a range of matters including general inquiries on HR policies and practices and referencing applicable legislation
Work with other Business Partners to lead organizational design and change management initiatives for growth, improve operational effectiveness and maintain a high-performing, diverse, motivated, and engaged workforce for partnered units
Understand the business needs and prioritize efforts and strategy accordingly
Build effective business relationships within the partnering unit to understand their operational people needs
Work collaboratively with other corporate functions within HR to support partnering unit needs
Advocate for and liaise between corporate HR functions and partnering units to ensure objectives are being met
Provide input and expertise for the structuring of compensation and benefits packages
Lead Human Resources initiatives and work with partnering unit to achieve goals and objectives
Provide support and guidance to other members of the HR team regarding policies and best practices
Work with Managers to determine appropriate corrective action, conflict resolution, and performance management techniques for their employees
Actively seek feedback and make recommendations regarding employee engagement practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
Participate in regular research and compliance initiatives regarding Human Resources issues
Assist with and lead the investigation of all complaints and participate in the resolution of employee relations issues
Promote positive relations between departments and with partners, customers, vendors, and distributors
Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations which support continuous improvement initiatives
Recommend Eclipse Database improvements on an ongoing basis to increase efficiency throughout the company
Continuously resource new innovative solutions for corporate competitiveness
Expectation of travel to Eclipse locations is less than 10% of time, however, may be exceeded in exceptional circumstances to meet organizational needs


Successfully completed a University degree or College diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience
Minimum 5-7 years’ progressive experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Strong relationship building and partnering skills, and experience providing consultative human resources services to an internal team
Must have strong organizational skills
Extensive knowledge of Human Resources related laws and processes
Understanding of business economics related to company operations and Human Resources
