High Tech Genesis is seeking an experienced engineer to maintain and operate our OpenStack infrastructure. A strong background in OpenStack is highly desirable, along with solid experience in Linux operations, particularly in networking. Proficiency in Python and shell scripting is important, and on-call experience is a valuable asset. If you’re passionate about infrastructure and automation, we’d love to hear from you.
Required skills and experience with:
• 3+ years of industry experience in infrastructure, virtualization, or cloud engineering
• 1+ years of experience working with a public cloud such as GCP
• 1+ years of experience working with Docker
• 1+ years of experience working with CI/CD or DevOps systems
• Management and operations of the OpenStack platform
• Knowledge in Design, implementation and operation of distributed software
• Experience with Infrastructure Management Tools such as Intersight and UCS Manager
• Experience in Infrastructure or service operations at scale
• Experience with Network administration
• Knowledge of Linux administration (especially Linux networking)
• Experience with REST
• Experience in Virtualization technologies
• Experience in Containerization technologies e.g. Docker
• Experience in Python
• Experience in Ansible
• Experience in Terraform
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
