We are seeking an experienced Full-time Account Manager to join our growing team in the natural food retail industry. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with retail clients across British Columbia, selling our products and addressing their needs. Job Summary:
As an Account Manager, you’ll be an integral part of our team, managing client accounts in the natural and organic food retail industry, selling products and meeting their needs across British Columbia. You’ll focus on maintaining strong relationships with existing retail clients while actively seeking new opportunities to expand our customer base.

• Schedule: Hybrid (On-the-road and work from home)
Responsibilities:
Sales:
• Sell products effectively, ensuring client satisfaction and meeting sales goals.
• Address client inquiries, provide accurate information, and resolve complaints promptly to enhance client experience.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to drive additional revenue.
Account Management:
• Regularly service existing accounts, both remote and in person, to nurture relationships and ensure repeat business.
• Identify and establish new accounts within the region, actively pursuing opportunities to grow our client base.
• Provide client training and support to ensure effective product usage and promotion.
• Manage retail distributors and pre-sell feature activity and track featured activity.
• Manage shelf space and location of products.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to represent the brand and network with potential clients.
Sales Presentations:
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client’s needs, highlighting the benefits of our natural and organic products.
Order Management:
• Process orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to company sales protocols.
Reporting:
• Keep detailed records of sales activities and client interactions, providing regular reports on performance, activity and outcomes to management and clients.
• Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3-6 years previous sales, preferably within the CPG / Natural food retail industry.
• Experience with Health and Wellness accounts as well as Natural food retail market.
• Thorough knowledge of Retail distribution/supplier network
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment
• Self-motivated with effective time management abilities to meet deadlines
• Proficient in CRM software, sales tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within British Columbia.
