“I’m too young and inexperienced, what can I bring to the workplace?”

Potential employers could have a “mental model” when comparing a younger worker to an older worker. As demonstrated below, what can potentially be considered a positive for one age group is viewed as a negative for the other age group. It becomes your responsibility to quell an employer’s concerns about you – YOU, and NOT your age category.
