We are offering a FREE computer training program designed to support newcomers to learn basic computer skills for their job search and work-related tasks.
The scheduled in-person program runs over 5 days with 3 hours of training per day.
Topics covered include:
- Conducting a basic online search
- Creating, editing, and saving basic MS Word and MS Excel documents
- Using MS Outlook for email
- Soft skills needed for success in the Canadian labour market such as Conflict Management and Stress in the Workplace
Basic eligibility for the program:
- Newcomer to Canada who requires basic computer skills training for work-related tasks
(A pre-program assessment will be conducted with each interested candidate to determine their suitability for the program.)
