Calian is seeing a Clinical Specialist Instructor in the field of Physician Assistant to help support the design, development and delivery of Canadian Forces Health Services Group Training and Education programs
Responsibilities
Instruct Clinical Specialty T&E Programs
Develop lesson plans
Prepare classing, equipment, job aids and learning tools for instruction
Set up/break down of training requirements such as dismantling equipment, and classrooms
Counsel and provide remedial Training and Education to students who are experiencing academic difficulties
Assess students
Advise on student performance
Maintain student files and feedback notes
Advise on the quality and efficiency of the instruction
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree OR post graduate diploma/certificate from a recognized Canadian University of College or from an equivalent in the following occupation: Physician Assistant
Must have completed a minimum of sixty training days within the last three years in instructing in military health services in the following occupation: Physician Assistant
Must hold a valid professional license in good standing with respective governing body for the following occupation: Physician Assistant
Additional Requirements
Bilingualism an asset
Must hold or be able to obtain a Government of Canada Security Clearance
