Are you passionate about working with children and exploring the great outdoors? Camp Kawartha is looking for enthusiastic individuals that have a passion for both the outdoors as well as working with children.
Job Overview:
We are looking for responsible people to help run our camp. For this position you must be able to live at the camp for the contract duration. As Land Activity Director you oversee the running and maintenance of all ropes courses on the property. You will also train our staff and campers in how to safely engage in land activities.
Responsibilities:
• Check ropes courses and land equipment for damage
• Create engaging programming for campers both with ropes courses and leadership initiatives.
• Ensure the physical and emotional safety of campers and fellow staff
• Train staff in how to safely lead leadership initiatives and rope courses

Qualifications:
• Standard First Aid and CPR-C
• Recent Criminal Reference Check
• CUI Ropes Level 2 or an ability to obtain it before the start of the summer
