Job Description

We are currently seeking an Desktop & Application Support Specialist to join us. As part of the Information Technology team, you will provide assistance, advice, problem solving and technical information regarding the use of Semex In-House developed software applications while actively supporting all other software used within the Semex network.

Requirements
• Provide user support for all commercial and in-house developed desktop applications
• Investigate problems and determine appropriate actions
• Deploy new laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile devices to end users
• Troubleshoot issue with PC desktop and laptop hardware/OS
• Work with vendors on device warranty and repairs
• Provide training for users in the operation of Semex software solutions and software products
• Provide systems and help desk technical support to end users (local and remote)
Windows 10/11, MS Office 365
• University or College degree/diploma in a related discipline
• Previous experience in application support or customer service roles
• 1-5 years of experience in application & desktop support
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to document effectively
• Work as part of a team
• Organized and efficient
• Ability to problem solve effectively
