Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Finisher to join our team. The Finisher will be responsible for completing the final touches on wood parts, ensuring they meet quality standards before distribution.
Duties
– Sanding and cleaning wood surfaces to remove imperfections and ensure proper adhesion of the finish
– Utilize hand tools and power tools to finish wood parts
– Perform wood repair and construction as needed
– Apply machining techniques to achieve desired finishes
– Using spray guns or other equipment to apply finishes evenly and efficiently
– Conduct quality checks on finished products
– Mixing stains, paints, varnishes, or lacquers
– Ensuring that the finish meets quality standards and customer specifications
– Cleaning and maintaining spray guns, compressors, and other finishing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
Requirements
– Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment
– Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues
– Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
– Precision in applying finishes and detecting imperfections in the final product
– Ability to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure the finished product meets expectations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
