Job Description
The successful candidate is responsible for inspection and packaging of product, assisting the operator in producing quality product with minimum waste and errors.
• Review of docket and special instructions for packaging requirements
• Labeling of cartons and pallets as required
• Visual inspection of product coming off conveyors for any noticeable damage or defects to ensure a quality product
• Hand package, poly wrap or box product as per docket instructions
• Tape/palletize finished cartons as required by docket specifications
• Complete and label completed pallets with required documentation
• Filling of core hopper as they are depleted
• Completing of slitter paper usage form
• General housekeeping to maintain work area clean and tidy
• Assist operator with roll changes, knife changes and end of the roll marker clean up
• Maintain tape on carton sealer as depleted
Requirements
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Close attention to detail
