Production Assembly -Part time leading to full time
Assembling automotive front or rear seats. Each station requires a standard work method to be followed while picking, placing, finessing and bolting components together. A seat needs to have the prescribed tasks carried out in each station within a cycle time of less than 60 seconds to keep up with customer demand. Seats are presented to workstations and Operators using conveyors at online work stations. Offline stations require parts to be handled and transferred by the Operators when being assembled in preparation to be placed to the online conveyor systems for final assembly and inspection. There are many different colour and component variations that need to be assembled based on requirements for each seat type.
