RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Inspects product to ensure it meets or exceeds quality standards. This includes checking for colour against colour panels, checking for roughness, dents, scratches, missing stain, and ensuring locks are working.
· Able to exercise sound judgement in applying quality standards while achieving production standards.
· Pays close attention to detail and works well under pressure and tight deadlines.
· Tracks repairs by tagging logging and communicates repair issues to Team Leaders.
· Performs repairs as required. (ie. runs, white edges, etc.)
· Ensures units are scanned to the appropriate location, including rework.
· Ensures the units match the accompanying paperwork in the work pack.
· Verifies the correct hardware (type and quantity) is in each bag along with the installation instructions before sealing the bag.
· Performs other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
· Performs all responsibilities/services in accordance with company Quality Assurance and safety procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Grade 12 education or equivalent.
· Previous quality assurance/inspection experience considered an asset.
· Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills are required.
