Carpenter Helper / General Labourer

We are currently seeking a Carpenter Helper / General Labourer with entry level or mid level on-site experience and skills. We proudly serve Muskoka and Almaguin Highlands regions. We provide hands-on, one on one training. Apprenticeship could be available to the right candidate. We operate in residential environments throughout the Muskoka Region. Wages are based on experience and skill level. Not accepting international applications. Only hiring and accepting applications from individuals currently residing in Muskoka District or Parry Sound District, Ontario, Canada.

 

Responsibilities:

• Operate various hand and power tools
• Clean and perform preparation of work-site
• Ability to take direction and apply it to the relative job functions
• Ability to adapt to indoor and outdoor working conditions
• Skilled manual labour in construction, renovations
• Maintaining a safe work environment at all times
• Other tasks as assigned including General Labour duties

 

Requirements:

• Reliable source of transportation
• WHIMIS, and working at heights certification would be an asset
• Must have own safety boots

Monday to Friday
Option of occasional Saturdays

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
