Pentalift is currently recruiting for a Sales Manager. This position requires a combination of mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic knowledge either through education or experience, along with a successful past in business to business sales.
Office hours are: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Primary Responsibilities:
• Communicate directly with customers to gain a full understanding of unique application requirements
• Provide technical guidance on product selection and application
• Convert estimate files into quotations and develop proposals
• Complete project management type activities through order cycle and post-sale
• Limited travel requirements in Canada and the United States
Qualifications:
• Technical Sales experience, preferably with a background in manufactured equipment
• Engineering education background is an asset
• Previous sales management experience is an asset but not required
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
• You likely have a strong technical background (mechanical)
• You have previously sold to general contractors and/or dealers
• Effective, strong communication skills
• You are aggressive, creative and keen to build effective business relationships
• Ability to travel to U.S., as required
• Highly organizational and analytical
