Due to an increased workload, the Gaffney Group of Companies Ltd. is inviting applications for a certified 309A Electrician. This is a full-time, permanent position at our location in Centralia, servicing clients in the surrounding areas of Exeter, St Mary’s, Zurich and Grand Bend.
If you are motivated, efficient, adhere to all safety standards, able to work overtime when required, can conduct yourself in a professional manner without supervision and have a clean driving record, come talk to us about joining our team.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Can perform a wide variety of electrical installations, repairs and maintenance of Agricultural and Industrial equipment, and has residential electrical experience.
2. Can troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
3. Self starter who can work unsupervised, communicate effectively with customers and build relationships with them in the Centralia, Exeter area.
4. Available to work 9-hour shifts, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend availability, comfortable being on call rotation with other electricians. Be available for periodic overnight out-of-town work.

All we ask is that you:
1. Are willing to work on-call and occasional overnight out-of-town work.
2. Are a member in good standing with Ontario Skilled Trades, have a 309A certificate of qualification.
3. Available to work the occasional weekend and holidays.
4. Willing to assist other team members as required and communicate regularly with the office and shop in Mitchell.
5. Have current certificates in Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform from a Ministry of Labour approved Training Provider.
