Location: 111 Ahrens Street West

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Choose proper base, frame, and upholstery according to shipping labels.
• Attach proper upholstery to finished frames by wood screws using an air driver.
• Attach proper base and control to all tilters as per shipping label.
• Assemble plastic and metal bases as needed.
• Level and glides all chairs and tables.
• Maintain adequate inventory of parts in department.
• Assemble certain types/styles of tables & chairs.
• Attach shipping labels and instruction sheets to product.
• Perform all necessary material handling.
• Select and lay up component parts.
• Assemble parts using glue and pin nails/staples.
• Operate air clamps and air tools.
• Perform webbing duties – using rubber webbing & hessian
• Seat springing.
• Performs all duties/responsibilities in accordance with company Quality Assurance and safety procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Previous trim experience is an asset.
• Working knowledge of hand tools and power screwdrivers is required.
