Job Description
• Set up, program and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines
• Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
• Operate gluing machines to glue pieces or wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
• Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products
• Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
• Operate pre-set special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products
Requirement
• Working with Saws, Routers, Sanders, Planers, Drills, Computer numerical control (CNC) machines, Gluing machines, Computerized woodworking machine
• Noisy and Dusty Environment
• Valid driver’s licence
• Attention to detail
• Hand-eye co-ordination
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking
