Full Job Description

AGTA Home Health Care Simcoe County is dedicated to providing high quality, 24-hour Home Health care in Simcoe County. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Support Workers to assist our clients who require assistance in their homes. We are currently hiring Personal Support Workers as well as Home Support Workers, who are willing to work in Collingwood, Orillia, Simcoe County, and surrounding areas.

Personal Support Workers responsibilities: (All candidates must be willing and able to perform activities listed below, as well as any other duties that may be required):

– Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and companionship (ADL’s).

– Meal prep., Medication reminders, Light housekeeping, and Completing tasks as needed.

– Palliative care, Companionship

Requirements Include:

-Relevant work experience

-A Current (IN CLASS) CPR/AED/First Aid Certification; level C or HCP or BLS

-Recent Vulnerable Sector Screening with Criminal Check (Clear). (Local police station)

-Two supervisory references related to your health care experience.

-Willing to assist clients in their homes and have reliable transportation to their work assignments

– Excellent attendance and punctuality

– Strive to be professional, client-centered, compassionate, positive, and flexible

We offer flexible work hours (Casual, Day, Night and Weekends shifts); no mandatory hour requirements, and competitive pay.
AGTA Home Health Care Simcoe County can provide new and reactivated employees with an orientation session. Accommodations for job applicants with disabilities are available upon request.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual /16 per week Salary: $22-$23/HR for qualified PSW’s
