Eclipse Automation Inc.

The Shipper and Receiver is part of the Supply Chain team that manages the inbound and outbound movement of materials. Reporting to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, the Shipper and Receiver will work with all departments to ensure that materials and equipment flow through the system quickly and accurately. This position requires a high degree of creativity, team effort and accuracy to support and ensure the effective delivery of the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.

The Shipper and Receiver job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Receive, log, inspect and label materials as directed by Purchasing and Purchase Orders checking for damage and correct part numbers / quantities
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing lists or other documents following all ISO or N299 guidelines
• Driving Responsibilities
o Driving Flat Bed, Pick Up or 5 Ton Box Truck
o Moving and delivering materials to and from all internal buildings to support designated projects
o Pick up materials from local vendors
• Plating & machine part receiving. Matching drawings to physical parts and upload certifications/documents to ERP
• Deliver materials to locations according to the project plan ensuring product received is delivered to correct project
• Assist with cycle counting and inventory accuracy activities
• Assist with problem solving, tracking down parts and invoicing issues related to receiving activities
• Assist with sorting and splitting shipments.
• Manage return materials
• Operate ERP software and Microsoft office email.
• Operate Pallet lifters, and fork-lifts, dollies and hand trucks.
• Infrequently manage weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
• Pack, label and load goods to be shipped
• Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct Code
• Maintain a good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate Vision
• Adhere to all Health and Safety rules and procedures
• Foster the development of a culture reflective of the core values of the business
• Heavy involvement in safety and safety talks
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Completion of OSSD or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s license
• Must have min 3 years’ experience driving 5-ton trucks (or larger). Documented evidence will be required.
• Must have min 3 years’ experience operating a forklift
• Must be self-motivated and lead by example with a positive attitude and outlook.
• Flexible to work at different facilities within Eclipse Automation
• Ability to read drawings considered an asset
• Expectation of travel to Eclipse locations is less than 10% of time, however may be exceeded in exceptional circumstances to meet organizational needs, travel in-between buildings is frequent
